We have reopened for business! For those that don't know, we are a family run business and like everyone we take vacations periodically. When we do, we close the store so we can do it as a family!

This trip was a special trip. We traveled from Florida to Barcelona via the Disney Dream cruise ship. This is a 14 night one way cruise as their ship repositions to Europe for the summer. Weve done these longer cruises before and they are our favorite!

Now, more importantly for this blog, what games did we bring with us? Well we brought two different games. The first game was courtesy of our Scottish family on the trip. We got an Edinburgh Escape Room in a box. It was quite fun with 11 different puzzles to solve. You are a magician and you are trapped by a fellow rival and you have to make it to your performance in time, it was fun!

The second game we saved for our Airbnb in Barcelona - we were within a block of the famous Sagrada Família - the incomplete stained glass covered bascilica in the heart of Barcelona - so of course we brought Sagrada with us. This dice drafting game has you completing stained glass windows based on the color and number of the dice rolled. no two dice of the same color or number may be adjacent. This is hard because everyone that's playing works from a communal dice pool each round. 

We got to play this twice, once in the airbnb and once at a hotel rooftop bar within sight of Sagrada. It was funny the second time around as our waiter kept coming over to see what we were playing. We finally told him it was Sagrada and he was surprised that there was a board game about the bascilica.
